I. Schedule
1. Xing Qing campus, 8:30am-12am, 14:30pm-17:30pm, September 11th
2. Yan Ta campus, 8:00am-10am, 15:00pm-17:00pm, September 11th
3. Harbor campus, 9:30am-12am, 14:00pm-17:00pm, September 12th
Please note that the schedule above cannot be forwarded without particular reasons.
II. Prerequisites for Registration
1. A home quarantine and health monitor of temperature fourteen days prior to your registration, specified by our university, shall be recorded.
2. Your municipal QR health green code of Xian and big data green accessible card,*excluded, will be absolutely needed.
3. Evidence of Convid-19 vaccination (particular reasons excluded due to your physical allergy.).
4. Evidence of NAT within 48 hours and ways of its calculation shall be the checking date minus NAT report date, testing date or final results’ date should be equal to or less than 48 hours.
Students who are not allowed to return temporarily
1. Your residence is in medium and high risky areas in China or you have travel record of areas above fourteen days prior to your registration.
2. Your must transfer yourself from medium and high risky areas in China on your way back to the university.
3. You have contacts with confirmed, suspects or unapparent cases and their close contacts.
4. Your family or you have symptoms like fever, fatigue, cough, ached or dry throat, diarrhea, vomit or smelling and listening declined.
Students above could register online and you check details from previous notification.
III. Applications for Registration
1. Please log into our university system, eps.xjtu.edu.cn, starting from 8am since September 1stand report your train details and arrival dates by uploading your municipal QR code, bid data accessible card and evidence for vaccination. More importantly, files above as well as NAT within 48 hours and the commitment letter for your healthy must be uploaded 48 hours prior to your arrival for your instructor’s approval so that you could return our university.
2. You must apply for any forward or delay from the university system and your application could only be valid until approval reached.
IV. Reminder of your return
1. Take personal protection
On your way to university, wear masks throughout your journey, stay away from crowded and poorly ventilated places, pay any attention to health status of travelers around you and avoid close contact with others.
2. Complete your travel details
Your travel details, including cab receipts, waiting stations and time should be uploaded into university system if any information missed.
3. Tackle with an emergency
You must terminate your arrival if your code was updated to yellow or red or you have symptoms such as fever before your departure. Please go to hospitals nearby and inform your instructors punctually if you are detected to have fever or any abnormalities.
NAT within 48 hours, evidence for vaccination, municipal green code and normal body temperature are indeed needed for your registration if you are found to be the close contacts.
V. Tips on Campuses Entrances
1. The accessible entrances
Xingqing Campus: South, Southwest, Southeast and North Gates.
Yanta Campus: East Gate of Dorm area, North Gate and West Gate of Medical Campus: North Gate of Finance and Economics.
Harbor: Entrances of Heyuan (section A), Huiyuan (section B) and langyuan (section C).
Please note that South Gate of Xingqing campus, East Gate of Yanta campus living area, Huiyuan and langyuan apartments of Harbor will be available in 24 hours and others will be open from 7am to 11pm.
2. Vehicles and strangers are both not allowed to enter campus.
3. Your municipal QR code, bid data accessible card and evidence for vaccination and NAT negative and normal body temperature will be asked for your entry into campus.
4. Admission notice for new students or student ID card for seniors will be checked for your entry into campus as well.
5. Please do not wonder in campus and go directly to registration locations. Your luggage will be disinfected by staff and your previous masks and other wasted protections will be processed properly.

VI. Notes on New Semester
1. Campus
The university implements strict policy on exit and entrance and nobody is allowed to travel outside. You should ask for leave from your instructor if it is indeed needed. Personal protection should be well conducted while you outside and staying away from crowded places. As soon as you return, it is absolutely necessary to revise your travel track record and body temperature each day. Please report to your instructor punctually if any discomfort found.
Students are advised to diminish online shopping and take-away foods. Take-away deliverymen are not allowed to enter campus.
2. Health
Students are asked to check body temperature regularly, filling in health daily report and monitor your health status. You should immediately contact your instructors or university hospital if you have fever, respiratory symptoms and other discomforts. The university hospital runs for 24-hour and the duty telephone number is 82668411.
3. Lab and Teaching
a. Both online and offline teaching will be manipulated and physical education class will be held outside lecture rooms.
b. You should sit down in classroom in proper distance.
c. Proper distances should be as well guaranteed for labs and wastes processed appropriately.
d. Basically, Internship outside campus is not advised. Internship for medical students will be scheduled by health center and graduates should be approved by his or her academic school and supervisor.
4. Dormitory
As requested, you are strongly requested not to visit or assemble. Please maintain a proper social distance for communication and prohibit strangers from entering dorm building.
Students who live outside campus should try your best to reduce mobility without going to dorms or any places unrelated to your learning and research. Please follow the guidance of your community and commit self-protections.
5. Canteen
Please queue in line for meals in off peak hours, plus one person per table. Snacks are reachable in campus and you are strongly suggested to take back to dorms for food.
6. Library and Activities
a. Appointment is necessary for library entrance and online library will be strongly advocated.
b. Gym, playground and public places will be open in due time.
c. Campus cultural events will be held online for avoiding assembling.
