Notice for May Day Holiday

Dear students,

In accordance with the decision by China State Council, Xi’an Jiaotong University decided to have 5 days off for May Day Holiday which is from April 30^thto May 4^th, 2022. The classes will start on May 5, Thursday.

I.Please note that classes of May 3th, Tuesday, will be shifted to April 24^th, Sunday and classes of May 4^th, Wednesday shifted to May 7^th, Saturday.

II.Starting from May 1^st, the timetable will be further renewed into:

8:00 a.m. —12:00 p.m.

14:30 p.m.—18:30p.m.

III. No one is allowed to travel outside Xi’an due to current Coronavirus situation. You must apply for leave from your instructor if it is indeed needed and your instructor shall be in advance informed. Nobody is allowed to travel outside Xi’an without consent.

IV. Students who live in campus should return to dorm before 11:00p.m., those who live off campus should come back to their flats as early as they could. Please don’t take any strangers into your dorms or flats for your safety and belongings.

V. Teachers will be on duty during the holiday and please let us know if any help you need.
