“The Diary of Int’l XJTUers: Vision in China” Short Video Competition

In order to create an international atmosphere on campus, encourage international students to explore and share the wonderful stories of being an Int’l XJTuers from a unique perspective, and demonstrate the creativity and expressive capability, the School of International Education is now organizing a short video competition with the theme of “The Diary of Int’l XJTUers: Vision in China” for international students on campus, to share their unique experiences, cultural experiences, and learning insights in China. Specifically, as follows:

Theme of the competition: The Diary of Int’l XJTUers: Vision in China

Participants: All international students of Xi'an Jiaotong University

Timeline:

Submission period: From today until May 16, 2024

Online voting period: May 17th, 2024 to May 19th, 2024

Evaluation period: May 20th, 2024 to May 25th, 2024

The online voting and final evaluation results will be published on the Wechat official account of the School of International Education.

Requirements:

1. The content of the video is healthy and positive, reflecting the charm of international students.

2. No limitation for video styles, places, and titles.

3. Must be original videos by individuals or teams (within 3 people).

4. Use Chinese or English, and subtitles must be added if the video uses English.

5. The duration of the video is 1-3 minutes, in the format of MP4 or MOV, and must be shothorizontallywith a resolution of no less than 1920*1080. No watermarks or other markings.

Awards Criteria: TheBest Popularity Awardwill be won by the contestant with the highest number of votes in the online voting session. The remaining awards will be evaluated by expert juries based on thecontent, creativity, production techniques, and overall quality of the video.
