Dear 2024 International Graduates :
Congratulations on your graduation! In order to enable students to go through the formalities of leaving school smoothly, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows
1.Ceremony Time:
Time for Undergraduates: 8:10AM June 20, 2024
Time for Master and Ph.D.: 8:10AM June 21, 2024
2.Graduation gowns will be prepared by SIE in advance. The details of the graduation gowns will be issued until further notice. Students attending the graduation ceremony are required to wear academic gowns. When wearing academic gowns, please wear light-colored jacket, dark trousers and leather shoes. Boys are required to wear ties. The tassels should be hung in the middle of the right front side of the cap. All the international graduates are asked to participate in ceremony together.

Graduates must use NETID to log in the school leaving system (http://hello.xjtu.edu.cn) and go through the school leaving formalities. Graduates must return the books borrowed from the library, upload their graduation thesis, fill in the alumni information, pay the tuition fees, and complete the check-out before they can receive their degree certificates and diplomas. The procedures for leaving school can be viewed by logging in (http://hello.xjtu.edu.cn) : ① Book borrowing; ② Thesis review; ③ Alumni information; ④ Tutor confirmation; ⑤ Financial payment; ⑥ Dormitory check-out; ⑦ Reading book borrowing; ⑧ Degree certificate issuance; ⑨ Graduation certificate issuance.
Personally Receive:Bring your passport and go to your own instructor’s office for signature and collection after all the above process.
Received by others:The entrusted person should bring his/her passport and submit the following documents to the instructor of the entrusting person for signature and collection:
1)《XJTU International Student Graduation Certificate Collection Power of Attorney》(Annex)(with the handwriting signature of the entrusting sides);
2) Copies of passports of both the entrusting and entrusted sides.
Graduates must submit the following materials to the instructors for file retention.
1.Copy and electronic version of degree certificate (Chinese/English);
2.Copy and electronic version of diploma (Chinese/English);
3.Original transcript;
4.Graduation Registration Form;
5.Copies of the first page, visa page and residence permit page of the passport;
6.Admission notice;
7.HSK Certificate.
