Notice for New International Students on the beginning of New Semester in the fall of 2025

In order to effectively guarantee international students’ safe arrival in the fall semester of 2025 and your subsequent regular study, scientific research and life order, this notice has been hereby formulated.

I. Registration Arrangements

1) Xingqing Campus:September 4^th, from 9:00 to 11:30 and from 14:30 to 17:30, 10th Floor, Block A, Foreign Languages Building.

2) Yanta Campus: September 4^th, from 9:00 to 11:30 and from 14:30 to 17:30, inside the courtyard of the Medical Dormitory Building

3) IHarbour Campus: September 5^th, from 9:00 to 11:30 and from 14:00 to 17:00, in front of Building 3 of Changyuan Student Apartments.

II Registration Notices

1) Registration must be completed within the specified time. Those who fail to register within two weeks after the deadline will be considered as forfeiting their admission qualification.

2) Postgraduate students are required to submit their original previous academic degree certificates. Those failing to do so within two weeks will be deemed to have waived their admission eligibility.

3) Non-CSC Ph.D. students who are unable to provide their previous academic degree certificates must submit a personal application explaining the reasons. The application should be reviewed and approved by the relevant academic schooland the School of International Education. If approved, the student’s admission status may be retained for one semester, and registration can be completed in the following spring semester.

3) To ensure a smooth process of applying for a residence permit within 30 days of entry, please pay attention to the official WeChat account "陕西国际旅行卫生保健中心" for timely medical examination appointments.

III Preparation before Coming to Campus

1) Personal valid documents: Passport, Admission Notice.

2) External vehicles and personnel are not allowed to enter the campus. Short-term parking is available outside the southwest gate of Xingqing Campus, while other gates are for immediate access only. During registration, family members are not permitted to accompany studentsinto the campus. In exceptional cases where accompaniment is necessary, prior approval must be obtained from the student’sinstructor.

3) Online pre-registration

Please do the online pre-registration before you come.

① Login throughhttp://isso.xjtu.edu.cn/admin/login, use your application number as the username and last six digits of your passport+@xjtu (eg. 123456@xjtu) as the password.For the security of your account, please change your password once you log in.

② Download the“Guide for Pre-registration” below Notice and Document download, then complete the pre-registrationaccording to theinstructions.

IV. Transportation Directions

1) Xingqing Campus: No. 28 Xianning Road, Xi'an

Airport:Take the airport shuttle bus to Jianguo Hotel, then take a taxi to the south gate of the university.

High-speed railway station: Take Metro Line 2 to Nanshaomen Station, then transfer to Bus 700 and get off at the south gate of the university.

Take Metro Line 4 to the Architectural Science and Technology University Station, then transfer to Bus 700 and get off at the south gate of the university.

Students could enter the campus from the south gate of the university.

2) Yanta Campus: No. 205 Zhuque Street, Yanta District, Xi'an

Airport: Take the airport shuttle bus to Shaanxi History Museum, then take a taxi to the university.

High-speed railway station: Take Metro Line 2 to Xiaozhai Station, then take a taxi to the university.

Students could enter from the east gate of the Medical School Living Area (100 meters south of Yangyang International, under the overpass).

3) Innovation Harbour Campus: Fengxi New City, Xi'an Xixian New District

Airport: Take the airport shuttle bus to the West Gaoxin Business Express Line, then transfer to Metro Line 5 to Chuangxingang station.

High-speed railway station:Take Metro Line 2 to Nanshaomen Station, then transfer to Metro Line 5 to the chuangxingang station.

Take Metro Line 4 to the Architectural Science and Technology University Station, then transfer to Metro Line 5 to Chuangxingang station.

Students couldenter from the SailSquare to follow directions to theaccommodation.

V. Accommodation Arrangements

All the new students (degree students) must live on campus for first academic year. Exceptions may be allowed for new students in Xingqing campus according to actual housing resources. The university will release the Room Selection Notice at 17:00 Beijing Time on August 28, 2025. Please pay attention to this notice and select your dormitory in a timely manner. Further details will be provided in the Room selection notice.
