Xi’an City Government Belt and Road Scholarshipis established by the Xi'an Municipal People's Government. It sponsors outstanding international students from "Belt and Road" countries who are pursuing doctoral, master's, or bachelor's degrees, as well as non-degree study programs for six months or more at universities located in Xi'an (with a focus on newly enrolled students each year).

Scholarship Coverage

The scholarshipapplies tothe first academic yearof the degree programandis providedover 10 months.

• Doctoral Students: 25,000 RMB/year

• Master's Students: 20,000 RMB/year

• Undergraduate Students: 15,000 RMB/year

Application Requirements

a) Applicants must hold citizenship of a "Belt and Road" country, possess a valid ordinary foreign passport, be friendly toward China and be in good health.

b) Academic and Age Requirements:

• Applicants for doctoral programs must have a master's degree and be under the age of 40.

• Applicants for master's programs must have a bachelor's degree and be under the age of 35.

• Applicants for undergraduate programs must have a high school diploma and be under the age of 25.

• Applicants for one-year non-degree programs should be under the age of 45.

c) Meet the specific requirements of the applied XJTU program.Follow the application time and instructions announced in the respective XJTU Admission Brochures and submit the application online. No separate scholarship application is required.Please refer to the specific admission brochures for each program.
