Notice on the National Day Holiday

Dear Students,

In accordance with the university’s arrangements, the National Day holiday and related matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Holiday Schedule

The holiday will run from October 1st to October 8th. Classes will resume as usual on September 28th (Sunday) and October 11th (Saturday).

II. Course Adjustments

l September 28th (Sunday): Classes will follow October 7th’s (Tuesday) schedule. Courses originally scheduled for September 28th are canceled.

l October 11th (Saturday): Classes will follow October 8th’s (Wednesday) schedule. Courses originally scheduled for October 11th are canceled.

l October 4th–5th: All classes are canceled.

III.Semester Schedule

StartingfromOctober 1st, the university will adopt winter hours: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and 2:00 PM–6:00 PM.

Iharbor Campus will continue to follow its trial schedule.

IV. WarmReminders

1.Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Students shall comply with Chinese laws and university regulations. Violations leading to penalties from public security/judicial authorities will result in disciplinary actions, including warnings or expelling. Avoid illegal activities such as unauthorized work, visaexpires, alcohol-related incidents, or disruptive behavior in housing.

2. Dormitory Safety

(1) Strictly follow dormitory rules. Smoking, cooking, or using high-power electrical appliances is prohibited. Do not tamper with electrical wiring to ensure safety.

(2) Ensure all appliances are turned off before leaving the dormitory to prevent fires.

(3) In case of fire, immediately cut off the power supply, evacuate via the nearest exit (follow emergency lighting), and avoid crowding.

3.Travel Reporting

Students planning to leave Xi’an must report to theirinstructors in advance. Prioritize safety during travel and return to campus on time.

4.Traffic Safety

When using public transportation or cycling, strictly obey traffic laws. Avoid jaywalking, running red lights, or speeding. Stay alert to suspicious individuals or vehicles while traveling.

5. Tourist Safety

When visiting tourist attractions, follow all rules and staff instructions, and stay vigilant against drowning risks.

6. Cyber Security

Protect personal information. Do not trust unsolicited messages or engage with suspicious links to avoid scams.

7. Emergency Contacts

For assistance, contact yourinstructors promptly. Theschool has 24-hourteacher on duty. For emergencies, contact the dutyteacher immediately.
