The School of Economics and Finance, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and the School of International Education jointly organize the essay competition themed "Diagnosing My Home Country's Economy from My Perspective". The competition is open primarily to international students from the School of Economics and Finance, and international students from other schools of our university are also welcome to participate actively and submit their entries.
Participants are free to formulate their own essay topics. Based on personal observations, understanding, and accumulated economic knowledge, essays should explore and analyze the current economic situation, characteristics, development bottlenecks, opportunities and challenges of their home countries, as well as put forward suggestions for future development.
Competition Rules & Guidelines：
1. Topics are open-ended , with a minimum word count of 3,000.
2. The submission deadline is November 25, 2025.
3. A panel of 5 experts will conduct the review and scoring, and the final score will be based on the average of the experts’ ratings.
4. Awards are divided into three tiers: First Prize (1 recipient), Second Prize (3 recipients), Third Prize (6 recipients).
5. The competition results will be announced within two weeks after the submission deadline.
