The first ISA League Construction Event was carried out for International Students Ambassadors from all three campuses in Youth Home on Xingqing Campus, Xi’an Jiaotong University in the afternoon of November 23, 2019.
As a delightful compensation for all the hard work done by ISA members during the Cultural Festival and the ISA Logo design competition, the event lasted for two hours, consisting of five classical team games, namely:Ice-breaking Game (Big Trees and Squirrels), Seek and Find, Stand Up, Big Circle & Small Circle, and Egg-proof Vest.
Of all the interesting games, many participants liked the last one “Egg-proof Vest” most, as they had to work in teams. In this game, all participants were divided into different teams. Each team was required to build a structure with mere straws and a scotch tape to protect an egg inside. After the team completed the construction, the whole structure with the egg was thrown from the second floor -- twice! Surprisingly quite a lot of eggs survived!
Each game enabled the ISA members to interact with each other, providing super chance to the new-selected ambassadors to have fun with the old ambassadors. Some participants said these happy memories would help them to work together as a family for the upcoming events. Alongside fun and interaction, these games also offered opportunities for practicing leadership, teamwork, communication and creative thinking skills.
