Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program Chinese Government Scholarship--​Xi’an Jiaotong University Master of Digital Business Management

In order to cultivate global governance talents with broad international vision, excellent comprehensive quality, outstanding leadership ability and cross-cultural background, theChinese governmentestablished the “Scholarship for Youth of Excellence Scheme of China—Master Program”. Xi’an Jiaotong University Master of Digital Business Management is specially set up for middle and senior government officials, influential news media, personnel of educational and scientific research institutions and executives of large enterprises in developing countries and countries along the Belt and Road. It aims to deepen the world’s understanding of China’s development, and to promote and expand dialogue and cooperation with developing countries.

I. Program Information

3. Study Duration: 2 Years

The educational system of this project is “1+1” training method. In the first academic year, students complete the basic course study and thesis proposal at Xi’an Jiaotong University. In the second academic year, students return to their home country to combine one’s practical work and improve their thesis and participate in the mid-term assessment online.After completing the thesis, students will return to the university to participate in the thesis defense according to the time required by the school, and those who pass the thesis defense will be awarded a master's degree.

II. Eligibility

1. Non-Chinese citizens, applicants should be under 45 years old and in good health.

2. With a bachelor’s degree or above, and with at least three years of work experience; relevant educational background or working experience related to management discipline is preferred.

3. Applicants must fit into one of the following four categories:

a. Public officials of division level and above (or corresponding level) in government sectors；

b. Senior management staff or organizations and enterprises;

c. Administrative personnel of universities and scientific research institutions;

d. Those who have relevant working or internship experience in international organizations.

4. Obtain thePre-admission Letterissued by Xi’an Jiaotong University.

III.Application Procedures

1. XJTU Pre-admission Letter Application

a. Log in XJTU online application system and create an application account. Select Chinese Government Scholarships-Bilateral/Great Wall/EU/AUN etc. Programs-Type A from the list of your target program. Fill in the application information and upload application documents.Online application system:http://isso.xjtu.edu.cn/recruit/login

b. After submitting your application, the university will send notes to your registered email through the application system. Please check for further updates regularly.

c. The university will issue Pre-admission Letter via email if you pass the review.

*Notes:

a) Applicants for Type-A do not need to pay the application fee to XJTU.

b) Online application is the only way to submit the application to XJTU. Hard copies are unacceptable.

2. Online Application on CSC System

Applicants should log in and apply on “CSC Study in China” website (http:// studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) and submit the application documents to the CSC before April 30th, 2023. Applicants should have obtained the Pre-admission Letter issued by Xi’an Jiaotong University when applying.

Please select Program Category "Type A". Agency Number is: 1563. The application program is the “Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program Chinese Government Scholarship”.
